Including Janice's most recent range
'Bamboo Series', four collections make up
the main body of jewellery, each with its
own identity, yet still maintaining a
strong sense of organic line, geometry
and movement throughout. Collections are
not changed on a seasonal basis but
rather within these main ranges work is
constantly changing and being updated
with fresh new designs.
Work is handmade from sterling silver,
combinations of silver and gold, and
solely in gold, incorporating different
colours and carats into the same piece.
Small diamonds and semi-precious stones
are also used in special pieces.
During 2000, Janice collaborated on a
project that led to her working on a
larger scale. Janice designed and
produced sterling silver handles and
components for vessels in bone china from
the ceramic designer Bodo Sperlein,
transforming everyday objects into
somewhat fashion led pieces. This couture
collection culminated in the exhibition Influences,
held at Browns Living. At the moment
Janice is working on ideas to form a new
body of work for a six woman exhibition, Flux
& Fire which will be held at the
National Museum in Trinidad in September
2005.
Janice's work has been featured in Vogue,
Harpers and Queen, World of Interiors,
The Sunday Times Style magazine, The
Guardian Weekend magazine, RJ magazine,
The Evening Standard and Time Out.
Our wish is that every piece bought
becomes personally precious to its wearer.
